A selection of Left Hand Wound Torsion Springs. Left hand winding spring are wound in an anti-clockwise direction, and has its end of wire on the left side.
- Mechanical spring that stores mechanical energy when it is twisted, and then releases this energy as torque (rotational force) when it unwinds.
- It works by applying a rotational force or maintaining pressure between surfaces when its ends are twisted in opposite directions.
- Load should be applied at about half the leg length. Free Deflection denotes the angle of the legs in the unloaded starting position. An expanded range may be available on special order. Please enquire.
