A selection of Ceramic Insulated Aluminium Press Fit 2 Pole Magnets. Extended poles can be lightly machined. Press fit. Insulated aluminium casing.
- Permanent magnet assembly designed to be pressed into a hole so it sits flush against a surface.
- Features a ceramic (ferrite) magnet that is encased in a steel pot for protection and to focus the magnetic field, with an aluminium insert for insulation and a two-pole configuration where the north and south poles are on the same working face.
- The aluminium acts as an insulator between the magnet and the steel housing.
- Non conductive hard brittle material
- Performs best at temperatures below 249 oC
- Can be cut with a diamond wheel
- Difficult to grind and can't be machined or drilled by normal methods
- Tolerance 0.13mm on all dimensions
