A selection of 316L Grade Stainless Steel Metallic Balls. Easier to machine than standard 316 grade.
- Grades shown are AFBMA and ISO3290-1 which relates primarily to the ovality of the ball rather than the diametrical tolerance
- General balls offered for sale may be from different ball lots, so the diametrical tolerance shown, indicates a variance that might be encountered if balls of different gauges are mixed, unless a ball gauge is specified for the part.
- For diametrically critical applications, a special quote can be obtained for balls of a specified ball gauge.
- 316L Stainless Steel has the same properties as 316, except that it has a lower carbon content. It is also easier to machine.
- Non-magnetic. Resistant to severe corrosive conditions.
- Hardness: Rockwell C: 25-39.
- Specific Gravity: 7.972.
